This book is an extremely well-written YA fantasy. And I do mean Young ADULTS, not young teens or tweens. There is no smut or smarmyness anywhere in the story, which is a relief these days. But the book was definitely written with a slightly older audience in mind; say maybe ages 16/17 - 25. The story is structured beautifully, and I hope the author will have more adventures with these same characters. I strongly suggest you read this because I feel you would enjoy it!
